Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC)

In November 2008, the Sunol Smart Carpool Lane Joint Powers Authority (JPA) – a predecessor to Alameda CTC – awarded ETC a project to implement and operate an Express Lane on Interstate I-680. In 2016 ETC extended the Express Lanes in Alameda county to include the I-580. This project opened to traffic in a fully dynamic mode in 2016.

Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA)

Since 2001, ETC has operated and maintained the Back Office System (BOS) for HCTRA. In 2013, ETC was granted the opportunity to implement the new BOS that will incorporate the RITE 2.0 advanced features.

Illinois Tollway

In January 2005, the Illinois Tollway selected ETC to implement the reciprocity (interoperability) program between its I-PASS system and the Interagency Advisory Group (IAG). Then in March 2005, Illinois Tollway awarded ETC the contract to implement and maintain a new toll collection system.

Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development (LaDOTD)

Starting in May 2005, ETC replaced the legacy toll system at the Crescent City Connection Division bridge. ETC implemented 12 combination lanes with AVI and manual toll collection operations and Back Office Solution.

North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA)

ETC has been the systems integrator for NTTA since 1999. Through this partnership, ETC has developed one of the most comprehensive electronic toll collection solutions available, the RITE Solution. This end-to-end solution replaced NTTA’s legacy system, and has been expanded to support NTTA’s new facilities. The RITE Solution was the enabling technology for NTTA’s system-wide conversion to all electronic toll collection (AETC).

Georgia State Road & Tollway Authority (SRTA)

In March 2010, SRTA selected ETC to provide its High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) to High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lane solution for the Interstate 85 Express Lanes. Additionally, ETC replaced SRTA’s CSC and Host software infrastructure. The project also included the migration of GA 400 toll accounts and the integration of the GA 400 toll facility with the new CSC.

Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT)

In 2010, UDOT selected ETC to provide payment processing and customer service for the Interstate 15 Express Lanes electronic payment system. ETC provided the back office solutions to support Express Lane users through phone, mail, e-mail, fax, and web access. All services were hosted at ETC’s Technology and Customer Service Centers located at its headquarters in Richardson, Texas.

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT)

In January 2010, WSDOT selected ETC to provide the systems and operations to support its new Statewide CSC. A primary goal of WSDOT is to enable drivers to use their Good To Go! accounts at any tolling facility in the state with one account, one transponder, and one customer service center contact. In February 2011, ETC assumed operations of customer service activities for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and SR 167 HOT lanes, and initiated customer service activities for the SR 520 bridge.
