History

Tim Gallagher founded ETC in 1999. ETC continues to grow, realizing the full potential of its advanced technology and innovative teams as it expands into adjacent markets, such as smart mobility, smart cities, and more.

We are one of a select few platform and systems integrators that offer end-to-end solutions, from roadside systems to the back office and operations.

We have a full understanding of the upstream or downstream ramifications of each type of program. Following the most recent market trend for tolling authorities to have separate vendors for Roadside and Back Office programs, we recently adapted our organizational structure.

Our Roadside and Back Office business units serve these two lines of business — allowing us to better foster specialization, accountability, and dedication to our clients, who then benefit through expert execution of these programs.

By leveraging ETC’s rite® technology, our team delivers industry-leading roadside and back office solutions, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), systems integration, maintenance, and operations to some of the largest tolling authorities in the U.S.

Our back office projects are deployed as either on-premise or as SaaS, and are hosted at our data center located in Richardson, Texas.
