Electronic Transaction Consultants Corporation (“ETC”) announced on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 it has named Bret Kidd as the company’s CEO.
Mr. Kidd has more than 25 years of successful leadership in technology services business with emphasis in the travel, transportation and public sectors. Previously, Bret held executive roles at Travelport, the $2.2B travel-technology business, most recently serving as President of Travelport Americas with responsibility for Travelport’s operations in North and South America. Prior to Travelport, Bret served as President and COO for Stratos Management Systems, an IT services firm focused on hybrid cloud solutions. His government industry experience includes creating and leading Hewlett Packard Services’ Global Public Sector unit, spearheading EDS’ aviation security initiatives following the 9/11 attacks and serving as a Special Assistant for U.S. Senator Phil Gramm.
In addition to his professional background, Bret has an outstanding educational background, earning a BBA from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
