Richardson tech firm heads to new HQ: Electronic Transaction Consultants leases new office

A Richardson tech firm is heading to a new office location.

Electronic Transaction Consultants Corp. is moving its long-time Telecom Corridor headquarters to the 1600 N. Collins building. The company has previously been located about two miles away in Richardson.

“As we celebrate 20 years in business this year, we felt it was time to trade up to a more modern office space that reflects the efficient operations and advance technology environment that is ETC today,” CEO Bret Kidd said in a statement. “The new space was designed with our employees in mind and we created a friendly space that will foster collaboration, teamwork and fun. When you work as hard as we do, it’s important to have fun as a team, too.”

Founded in 1999, Electronic Transaction Consultants had been in the previous location for 12 years. The company provides systems and services for the tolling and transportation industries, processing more than $3 billion of toll revenue annually.

Built in 1998, the 1600 N. Collins building is owned by Thompson Realty Capital and is located east of U.S. Highway 75.
